Learning to box teaches young people discipline, work ethic and can help children and young adults excel both physically and mentally.  Boxing training improves cardiovascular fitness, whole-body strength and builds confidence and self esteem. These classes are suitable for any level of skill or fitness.

Any children and young people who are on free school meals can access free boxing sessions. This is to help children and young people keep active especially through the cost-of-living crisis.

Spring 2023 - Kids & Youth Sessions

Monday 5pm - Kids Boxing 7-10 years
Wednesday - 5.30pm - Girls Boxing 11-16yrs
Thursday - 4.30pm - Kids Boxing 7-10 yrs
Thursday - 5.30pm - Boys Boxing 10-15 years

WHAT TO EXPECT: KIDS 7-11 yrs

For kids aged 7-11 years, this is a non-contact class, focused on FUN with various boxing based games and drills to introduce kids to the sport of boxing.

  • 40 minutes of fun-filled, physical activity
  • Develop basic proficiency in punching and moving
  • Build self confidence
  • Get active and learn a new skill
  • Socialise with other children and make new friends

Only £5 per class with discounts available if you book for the term.

Our academy classes are inclusive and fun, tailored for teenagers aged 11-17 years. Open to all levels, this is a glove-contact class - you will only hit bags, pads or gloves - not each other. However those who have undergone an EB boxing so they can spar, may be able to undertake some sparring in class under the guidance of a Level 2 EB coach.
